Summary: We only collect error messages when you explicitly click "Get AI Analysis".
No personal data, passwords, or credentials are ever collected or stored.
What Data We Collect
When you manually click "Get AI Analysis" in the ErrorLyze WordPress plugin, we temporarily process:
- Error message text - The PHP error message
- File path - Sanitized, relative path only (e.g., "includes/class-admin.php")
- Line number - The line where the error occurred
- Site URL - Used only for rate limiting (5 analyses per month)
- Site key - Random string generated by the plugin for rate limiting
What We Do NOT Collect
- ❌ No passwords or credentials
- ❌ No user personal information (names, emails, addresses)
- ❌ No database credentials or API keys
- ❌ No full file contents or source code
- ❌ No tracking cookies or analytics
- ❌ No IP addresses (beyond standard server logs)
- ❌ No automatic data collection
How We Use Data
- Error messages are processed by AI to generate fix recommendations
- Site URL and key are used ONLY for rate limiting (5 analyses per month)
- Data is processed in real-time and NOT stored permanently
- No data is shared with third parties
Data Retention
- Analysis requests are logged temporarily for rate limiting
- Error messages are NOT stored after AI analysis is complete
- Rate limit counters reset automatically on the 1st of each month
- No long-term data storage
Security
- All communication via HTTPS encryption (TLS 1.3)
- No personal data stored on servers
- Server hosted in EU (DigitalOcean Amsterdam datacenter)
- Regular security updates and monitoring
User Control
- AI analysis is NEVER automatic
- You must manually click "Get AI Analysis" for each error
- You can use the plugin without ever using AI analysis
- All error data is stored locally in your WordPress database
GDPR Compliance
